The Jordan & Kyra Memorial Charity Golf Tournament
The 2008 golf tournament is sold out.
We are still accepting registration for sponsorships, evening banquet and hotel accommodations.

Mark your calendars for Friday, October 3, 2008, when the 15th Annual Jordan & Kyra Memorial Golf Tournament will be held at TPC San Francisco Bay at Stonebrae in Hayward, California. Part of the PGA TOUR’s acclaimed TPC Network of clubs, this spectacular new venue features a championship layout designed by world renowned Scottish golf course architect David McLay Kidd – designer of Bandon Dunes in Oregon and the new Castle Course at St. Andrews – on a hillside more than 1,300 feet above San Francisco’s East Bay.

One of the nation’s most successful charity golf events, the amateur charity golf tournament is the culminating event in a year-long fundraising effort benefiting pediatric brain tumor research and family care. During the past 14 years, nationwide fundraising for the Jordan & Kyra Memorial Foundation has raised more than $1.5 million for pediatric brain tumor research being conducted by the nation’s foremost expert in the field, Dr. Mark Israel at Dartmouth University’s Norris Cotton Cancer Center.  Funds also support Family House – a non-profit residence for families of children undergoing treatment at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Medical Center.

The tournament is operated by the American Golf Foundation (AGF), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing and enriching communities through charity, education and community service. All donations as well as entry and sponsorship fees are processed by AGF. In addition to overseeing administrative functions of the charity golf tournament, AGF supports the Jordan & Kyra Memorial Foundation through its team of volunteer Ambassadors, who conduct fundraising events at golf courses nationwide for its benefit.

The 2008 amateur charity golf tournament will feature a double shotgun with a Morning Group 8:00 a.m. Shotgun Start, and an Afternoon Group 1:00 p.m. Shotgun Start. Entry into the tournament includes green and cart fees, continental breakfast and/or lunch, tee gifts, and an invitation to the reception and awards dinner which includes live and silent auctions. Sponsorships and dinner-only tickets are also available.

We hope to see you on Friday, October 3 at this not-to-be-missed event!
