  Jordan Stuart
February 14, 1990 – May 7, 1992

Jordan Stuart was a very special boy from Scotts Valley who died on May 7, 1992 of a rare brain tumor at the tender age of two years old. He spent 12 of the last 17 months of his life being treated at Stanford Children's Hospital and UC Medical Center at San Francisco. During a good portion of the time Jordan was treated at UCSF, he and his family lived at Family House -- a non-profit residence for the families of children undergoing treatment at UCSF. Jordan spent his last Christmas at Family House with his parents and siblings by his side.

"Knowing there are other families struggling against this heart-wrenching illness really is a consolation," says Rob Stuart, Jordan's father. "Family House helped me foster relationships with people with whom I am still close."
